Two-time ECHO Award-winning composer and pianist Uri Caine follows his Jewish roots in a program conceived especially for the Mizmorim Festival.
Works by Verdi, Wagner, Johann Strauss, Beno Bloch and others, which were performed in Basel in 1898 during the Second Zionist Congress, serve as a starting point for Caine and his ensemble with Ralph Alessi (trumpet), Hana Gubenko (viola), Lukas Traxel (double bass) and Jim Black (percussion) to give a new voice to the Zionist spirit.

Concert duration: approx. 130 minutes
